Ankita Agarwal is an Indian woman, who secured AIR 2 in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services exam in 2022 in her third attempt. She secured 1050 marks out of 2025 marks.Before clearing UPSC 2022, Ankita worked in Indian Revenue Services (IRS) as she cleared her UPSC AIR 236 in 2019, however, she wanted to be an IAS so she gave her second attempt and secured AIR 2.During an interview, Ankita expressed her desire to work for womens empowerment, primary health, and school education sectors.While stating her reasons to pursue her career in civil services she said that I was clear about my goal and therefore chose not to enrol for a postgraduate degree.
