Ashes in Flames is a LIVE band based in Kolkata.&nbsp;The fusion band was formed in 2009 but started functioning with a steady lineup from 2010. Their original compositions blend their alternative sound with traditional Indian bandishes.&nbsp;The band has been actively involved in the music scene of the city, right from college and school fests to pubs and cafes. They have also been a part of the biggest band competitions of the nation including the IITs, SeaRock, VH1&#39;s WORME fest, Channel [V] Indiafest&#39;s Launchpad, and many others. Stressing on original music, their compositions have been featured all over the web and radio.&nbsp;Being featured in Rolling Stone India and multiple gigs at Someplace Else and the Park are a couple of their highlights. The band enjoys being part of and supporting the underground band movements and youth initiatives. One of their recent ventures has been background work for short films.
