He came to more limelight as a singer when he released his debut album &#39;Sau Putt&#39;. That was the turning point of his singing career. In the year 2012, he released the single track &#39;Sohni&#39;, which again was&nbsp;appreciated a lot in the Punjabi music industry. Babbal sings what he feels from his heart. As a playback singer, his first song was in Jimmy Shergill&#39;s movie, &#39;Rangeeley&#39;. In the year 2014, his multi-starrer project &ndash; &#39;Kudi Tu Pataka&#39;, became a hit and was highly appreciated by the audiences. In 2014 only, he released the song, &#39;Girlfriend&#39;, under the label of the hit music record, Speed Records.
