Chetan Salunkhe was born into a poor Marathi Family in Pune.He grew up in a slum area of Pune.Since his childhood, Chetan was passionate about the art of dancing.In his childhood, he would often dance on streets; emulating a range of popular dancers from Michael Jackson to Prabhu Deva.Chetan says that he is a self-taught dancer and has sharpened his skills by watching videos and practising on his own.Soon, he became popular in his locality for his unique dance moves and was encouraged by many to participate in dance reality shows.In 2018, Chetan Salunkhe participated in the dance reality show Dance Maharashtra Dance on ZEE Yuva.Thereafter, he went on to give auditions for another dance reality TV show Dance Plus 4 three times but only got selected in the fourth season.He was supported by a number of his friends and relatives including his grandmother who campaigned to vote for Chetan.
