Jawaher Mallakhmb Group is a professional group who performs Mallakhamb at various events and shows. Mallakhamb is an ancient sport where wrestlers used to perform aerial acrobats on a wooden pole. It first originated in India in the 12th Century. It was then forgotten and again revived in late 19th Century Balambhatta Dada Deodar. Mallakhamb was first used by wrestlers to learn different styles of wrestling. But nowadays, it has evolved into a sport of its own and requires extreme mental and physical prowess to perform it.
