Sai Pallavi Senthamarai Kannan (born May 9, 1992) hails from Kotagiri, Tamil Nadu. A trained doctor with an MBBS degree from Tbilisi State Medical University, she pursued her passion for dance and acting through Tamil reality shows before making her cinematic debut.Her breakout role came in 2015 with Premam (Malayalam), where she played Malar opposite Nivin Pauly. The film was a cultural phenomenon, earning her the Filmfare South Best Debut award. She followed this with Kali (Malayalam, 2016), and in 2017, she won another Filmfare South trophy for her vibrant performance in the Telugu hit Fidaa.Over the next few years, Sai transitioned seamlessly across industries with roles in Maari 2, Athiran, Paava Kadhaigal, Shyam Singha Roy, and Love Story.
